We were supposed to mark the modern drama assignments from earlier this week; however, a number of students came to the realization that they may have “officially” plagiarized a book review (they were supposed to have written it without using the book or internet… some problems here). As a result, they wrote an in-class book review on their novel which will be assessed as part of their major project.

Thursday, January 8, 2009

Students will work on the excerpt from “Ceasar and Cleopatra”. They will do this reading in groups of six (if possible). They will read the reading in groups first and only get the questions after they have read and understood it (Don’t hand out with the readings). They will each then receive the questions and discuss the answers within their groups. Botht this one and from “Man for All Seasons” (done on Wednesday) will be marked on Friday so they need to be in by the beginning of class Friday.
